Associate (Interim) Minister in the Great Aycliffe Team

The Diocese of Durham is seeking an Associate (Interim) Minister in the Great Aycliffe Team (to be known locally as “Team Vicar”).

We seek to appoint an interim minister to serve the Great Aycliffe Team Ministry. The team has three churches with regular worship, and is currently being served by an Interim Change Minister (ICM) as Priest-in-Charge, working with the PCC to develop its mission and ministry.

The Associate Interim Minister will support the ICM, taking a lead in some areas of parish work and sharing the responsibility for worship and occasional offices. The post is offered on a full time stipendiary basis with housing available, for a three-year period (possibly renewable).

The Diocese of Durham is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.
