Priest-in-Charge, St Columba Darlington (House for Duty)

We seek a House-for-Duty minister in the parish of St Columba, Darlington.

The committed congregation are praying for a minister who will enable them to develop their mission and reach out to all in the parish, including children and young people.

This is an area of significant need, and the congregation serve there lovingly, aided greatly  by their excellent multi-function building, shared with the Community Association. They also, however, need to find new ways to share faith with their community – especially children and young people. They are determined to do this, and seek a minister who will work with them on the development of their mission. This one parish, with one fit-for-purpose, hugely adaptable building, so this is an exciting opportunity.

The Diocese of Durham is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. You can read the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy here
