The Acting Bishop of Durham is looking to appoint a Priest in charge of Bensham and Teams (St Chad).

We are seeking a mission minded and focussed priest to serve in this exciting parish who are hopeful about their future. The parish have a heart for community engagement, social justice and building on what has gone before. There is also the addition of being part of a supportive deanery and also a collaborative relationship with nearby parishes. There is an exciting (staffed) community project which reaches out into one of the poorest communities in Gateshead.
The parish say of themselves “We are looking for is a committed Priest to enable us to realise our vision of a mission based Church serving the community of Bensham and Teams in Jesus’ name for the blessing and transformation of all.”
