Priest-in-charge of St John’s Birtley and St Andrew’s Lamesley

The Acting Bishop of Durham is looking to appoint a Priest-in-charge of St John’s Birtley and St Andrew’s Lamesley.

This is an exciting opportunity to come and serve in a new grouping who are looking forward to working together in mission.

Nestling under the shadow of the Angel of the North, these parishes are ideally suited to a mission minded priest who can lead with enthusiasm and vision with a willing group of parishioners.

Both St John’s and St Andrew’s have a real passion for music, which is a central aspect to the worshipping life of the churches.

There is a real desire in both churches to grow in mission and see their churches grow in faith and number.

We are looking to appoint someone who will lead these congregations who are ready to grow further – could God be calling you here?
