Priest-in-charge of St John’s Birtley and St Andrew’s Lamesley.

The Acting Bishop of Durham is looking to appoint a Priest-in-Charge of St John’s Birtley and St Andrew’s Lamesley.

This is an exciting opportunity to come and serve in a new grouping who are looking forward to working together in mission.

Nestling under the shadow of the Angel of the North, these parishes are ideally suited to a mission minded priest who can lead with enthusiasm and vision with a willing group of parishioners.

We are looking to appoint someone who will lead these small but growing congregations who are ready to grow further – could God be calling you here?

The Diocese of Durham is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. You can read the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy here
