The Bishop of Durham is inviting applications for the role of Priest in Charge of Burnmoor, Shiney Row and Penshaw.
This new grouping are seeking a priest who the churches describe as “full of faith, and who can help us discern the potential for mission and growth” as well as someone who “can innovate and take the initiative”.
The parish are ready to grow in discipleship and numbers and have worked hard in vacancy to make themselves mission ready and forward looking.
