As a Diocese we have been listening to God over the past few years, asking what the transformation of our churches and mission will involve as we look ahead. Following ‘Waymark’ we identified four missional priorities and more recently, as we’ve thought about the sort of wider strategic changes we want to develop (our Strategic Transformation vision) in order to bless the communities of our region and fruitfully grow our churches as we proclaim the gospel afresh to future generations.
The Called to Fruitfulness study guide has been put together to help our churches engage with these ideas by considering some of the key Biblical passages that have shaped these thoughts, plans and prayers.
Each of the sessions focusses on one of the areas we’ve sensed God calling us to attend to and is supported with discussion questions, activities, prayers and some links to additional resources to help you explore and engage with the key ideas. Please feel free to adapt and use these in way that works best for the context of your group.
The attached link will take you to a PDF copy of these materials which you can either view online or download to read or print later and use either in homegroups throughout the next year or as part of a lent course.
Exploring our vision to ‘Bless our communities in Jesus’ name for the transformation of all’ needs to keep happening. So too reflecting on why from the Scriptures we believe that our four priorities really matter.
We hope you enjoy the sessions and find them useful.
