On Saturday 13 September, people from across the Diocese gathered together at Durham Cathedral to celebrate those called to exercise lay ministry within our Diocese.
An 18-year-old musician, who started his journey aged ten as apprentice organist at St. Mary's Gainford, has been awarded a prestigious scholarship at St. David’s Cathedral in Wales.
As part of the Flourish Partnership between St John’s Church and St John’s CE Primary School in Shildon, a joyful baptism recently took place within the school—an inspiring moment that reflects the strength of the growing relationship between church, school, and families.
Last week, a group of clergy gathered at the Ravensworth Arms in Lamesley for a celebration event, to mark their completion of the Launchpad programme, designed by national Christian youth work charity, Youthscape.
