We believe that we are sent here to be the beating heart of God’s love for Stockton. A family of missionary servants sent as disciples who make disciples.
We want to see the people being equipped to live out their lives as disciples on mission where they are. Our values help to guide how this happens, we are:
- All Family – each one of us is part of God’s wider family;
- All Jesus – everything we do will explicitly have Jesus at its heart;
- All Led – We will take bold steps of faith as we are led by the Spirit;
- All Real – Being honest about our needs and our brokenness with God and each other;
- All In – We will be committed to following where we are led and put our whole hearts into making disciples of the people around us;
- All Can Play – As the Body of Christ we all have a part to play and the joy here is that we get to play that part together, we know it won’t be perfect or polished but that is pleasing in the eyes of our Heavenly Father.
We are focused on growth – spiritually, numerically and of God’s Kingdom in the community. As such we have been focusing on getting our ‘roots down’ growing together as family. Now we are putting our ‘branches out’ – creating regular patterns of high invitation events that bring us into contact with non-believers to share life with them. Our hope is that this will help us to ‘bear fruit that will last as people begin to be discipled in their communities and begin to form part of the wider church.
