Pennywell Community of Hope

Driven by a reimagined picture of the church, Pennywell’s expression of Communities of Hope is called Hope4All. As they open their doors to the community, project leaders are intentional about creating a place where everybody knows your name. This invitation to belong echoes the strong community identity found amongst the members of Pennywell who have been faced with increasing marginalization and deprivation that has left a mark on their unemployment rates.

Believing that the Church holds a message of hope for everyone, Hope4All embodies this belief as they launch local initiatives that equip neighbours with the experience, skills and confidence to challenge unemployment as a whole. It is in this place where all are invited to participate in reinvigorating a strong, prosperous and friendly community that is weathering the impacts of a pandemic and shifting economic landscape.

It is the resiliency of the locals that brings life to this project. Hope4All empowers those that walk through the door to recognize how their own strengths and creativity contribute to the life, prosperity, and flourishing of Pennywell.
