St John’s College, Durham and the Diocese of Durham invite applications for the role of Rector of Chester-le-Street

This is an exciting role for an ordained minister to offer leadership within a multi-congregation church, with an excellent past and a dynamic future. The mission opportunities within the town are exciting and are supported by full time administrative support, a children’s and youth worker and many able lay people.

The parish say: “We aim to be a community of Christians who worship God and make a difference in people’s daily lives, reaching out to the community of Chester-le-Street and sharing the light and love of Christ with others.”
