Team RectorBillingham Team Ministry

This post offers a real opportunity to build and lead a team that will change the mission of the church in Billingham significantly. Today, one stipended staff member (the Team Vicar) is working here alongside lay ministers and volunteers; by the end of the year, the new Rector could be leading a team including four paid staff – the Rector, Team Vicar, Lay Development Worker and (part-time) Children and Families Worker. The resources for all these posts are in place, so this is a huge opportunity for change, development and growth: we are seeking a Rector to lead and shape this work.

Billingham’s churches are already trying very hard to share the good news of Christ! They work in seven schools and run a wide, creative range of groups and activities so that children, younger and older people might know and share God’s love.

Might you be the person to lead the parish in this mission, working collaboratively with this growing team of lay and ordained staff and volunteers?
