A workshop to help your parish fund its mission, with Eleanor Stead, National Legacy and Funding Officer

Time: We have two identical sessions one afternoon and one evening
13:30 – 16:00pm or 18:45 – 21:15pm
Venue: Cuthbert House, Durham, DH1 3RY
Session 1: Encouraging Legacy Giving within your Parish including vision and opportunity, the financial and theological reasons for encouraging legacies, and the legalities involved
Session 2: Introduction to Capital Funding Campaigns including explaining capital grant funding, 6 steps to success, funding sources and top tips for application writing.
Session 3: Introduction to Digital Giving including an introduction to why digital is important, an overview of the digital channels available to churches and a demonstration of current card readers available to purchase through Parish Buying.
The Speaker: Eleanor is the Church of England’s National Legacy and Funding Officer, a role she has held since 2012. Eleanor is the first point of contact for issues relating to Legacy Marketing and Administration, Grant Making and Capital Funding Projects. Eleanor has a BA Hons Degree in Theological Studies from the University of Exeter.
