The Rt Revd Paul Butler, Bishop of Durham took to BBC Radio Tees today Sunday 26th February to ‘Talk Jesus’ to Mike Hill on the Sunday Breakfast show.

Mike was interviewing Bishop Paul about the ‘Talking Jesus’ mission that starts on the 2nd March and continues through 5th March 2017.

With only four days to go – Sophie Jelley said: “For many people church is seen as a building, sometimes cold and rather empty. It is wonderful that we have the chance to paint a very different picture this week. For the people of our diocese to see that the church is actually a vibrant community of people living life to the full, following Jesus and offering others the chance to join in.

“‘Taking church out into the community’ is one of the ways Bishop Paul describes what Talking Jesus is about in his radio interview this morning for BBC Tees Radio. Listen here and be encouraged as we prepare to Talk Jesus ‘from the Tyne to the Tees and the Dales to the sea blessing our communities in Jesus’ name for the transformation of us all.’”
