Bishop Auckland is a key parish in the Diocese.  There are significant and exciting developments in the town, through the work of the Auckland Castle Trust and Eleven Arches projects.  Auckland Castle has been the seat of the Bishop’s of Durham for 800 years and continues to be central to his ministry. This is a post for an energetic and mission minded priest who can lead and encourage the church community whilst also engaging effectively with the wider community.
